I've used this card with my Canon 7D for a few weeks now and I'm very happy with it. Write times for photography are more than fast enough, I shoot a lot of fast action bursts and the card clears the cameras buffer very quickly. I've only shot a few video's so far to this card but once again its more than capable. I intend to purchase another Sandisk extreme 8gb in the next few weeks.

OK not as good as the new Ultra range but cheaper and fast enough for my wildlife photography..

I use my camera all the year round,it goes every where with me in the car,i take all kinds of photo's,i upgraded because i was running out of memeory card and decidied to use what i consider as a faster capture card,and i wasn't disappointed by my results,in fact very pleased indeed.

This is the card that essentially lives in my 7D. It is blisteringly fast and hasn't let me down yet...even large HD movie files aren't a problem.

Not the cheapest of cards but worth it for the peace of mind.

I bought a couple of these for my D700 and they've proven to be great and reliable. Yes you can get higher speed bigger storage cards, but these are more than enough for my needs and basically do exactly what they say they do.

This card features the best balance of speed, capacity, brand and cost.

8gb gives enough shots for most photographers, for at least a day's shoot, if not a whole holiday.

60mbs/400x is one step below the fastest generally available card speed.

Sandisk remain the world's most renowned and respected card manufacturer. Ask any pro.

The cost may not be actually be that cheap but as far as all the above are concerned and considered, it's not bad.

I use this particular card myself for press and photojournalism, where reliability is paramount, speed important, and where the capacity is still plentiful.
