The Sekonic L-208 is the smallest light meter to combine incident and reflected light measurement, and has been carefully designed to provide simple, one-handed operation. Sekonic L-208 Twinmate

Utilising a lithium CR2032 battery, the Sekonic L-208 has increased operation time and fewer battery changes.
Also featured on this meter is a battery check button to monitor battery voltage. A sharp 33º-angle measurement with guide in reflected mode provides decisive means for choosing values to measure in comparison to most economical meters with a wider reflective measuring angle.
A new “Hold and Read” function grabs and maintains the current reading for 15 seconds after release of the measurement button, making more time for evaluation of the scene.

If you not too bothered about (or don't need flash metering), this RELATIVELY inexpensive light meter could be for you.
I bought mine to use with some old film cameras I've started 'playing around with' and being a bit of an old timer, I particularly like the analogue and matched needle display that the unit offers ... it gives a very good over-view of all the aperture/shutter-speed combinations you can use for any given light reading. The unit is easy to operate.
However, in my opinion there is one great problem with the Sekonic L-208, and that is, it has been miniaturized too much and is too small for comfortable handling. I don't have especially blokey or big hands, but even in mine, this lightmeter is not made to fit - logically I should have thought - in the palm of the hand: it is hardly any larger than a 'standard' hen's egg at 65mm long. It is extremely light too, weighing only slightly more than a standard 35g bag of crisps: 40g. Why Sekonic have made the L-208's plastic moulded casing so small, one can only guess; but I suppose it could have something to do with their not wanting to make it too attractive in comparison with the next model-up in their range (the Sekonic L-308s), which of course costs about twice as much. Either that, or their designer has clearly never used one or held one in his hand. I've probably made my point, but the unit would be pretty much perfect if one's hands were the size of the average 6 or 7 year-old's perhaps. It's a pity that it's not simply a sensible size, but then if it were, more people perhaps might buy it in preference to the L-308.

Bought this to accompany a couple of old(er) Yashica-Mats one with a selenium meter of its own and one with a hard to get battery size. Very reliable and seems spot on in the usual outdoor conditions. Handy readout locks in place for ease of use. Small and convenient body size. Incident / reflected settings too.

I bought this as I'd gone into medium format and didn't have in camera metering.

This is a great little lightmeter giving moth reflected and incidental readings. The shots I'm getting back are superb and I'm a very happy bunny.

I'd recommend this as long as you don't want a flash meter too.
