Three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements help correct chromatic aberration. This lens' rear focus system minimises fluctuation of aberration caused by focusing. The super multi-layer lens coating reduces flare and ghosting, resulting in great images, throught the zoom range.

Adding (optional) 1.4x EX DG APO or 2x EX DG APO Tele Converters produce a 210-700mm F7-8.8 MF ultra-telephoto zoom lens or a 300-1000mm F10-12.6 MF ultra-telephoto zoom lens respectively. A removable tripod collar (TS-31) is included as standard.

The gentleman above had issues with his Samsung Gx10 and the auto focus with the Sigma lens. This Sigma lens will work with the Samsung Gx10 and Pentax K10 once you have downloaded Firmware 1.03 onto the camera via the memory card from the internet. To check your firmware hold down the menu button as you turn the camera on and it will be displayed on the camera screen. Hope that helps future customers.
