The Sigma 50-150mm f2.8 EX DC APO OS HSM Lens offers a large aperture of F2.8 over its entire range of focal lengths and its large depth of field offers greater freedom of creative expression. The OS (Optical Stabiliser) system enables hand held tele-photography by allowing the use of shutter speeds approximately 4 stops slower than would otherwise be possible. The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) provides quiet and speedy autofocus while allowing full-time manual override. This lens features Super Multi-Layer Coating and six SLD glass elements to prevent chromatic aberration, lens flare and ghosting, and to ensure sharp, high contrast images throughout the zoom range. This lens is perfectly suited for low light conditions indoors or at dusk, it has a minimum focusing distance of 80cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:6:3. With the addition of Sigma’s 1.4x or 2x EX DG APO Teleconverter it can produce a 70-210mm F4 AF or 100-300mm F5.6 AF telephoto zoom. More
