Bought this lens to complement my new Sony NEX6 on my travels abroad. It gives me, together with the camera 16-50 kit lens, a good, robust and lightweight travelling kit all weighing under 1 kilo.

This is a really nice lens for all round everyday use.The key word for me with this lens is size and weight.I use this lens most day on a large construction site,and the results are excellent.In the past I had to lug my Nikon 70-200mm around to get the quality of shots,right this lens is not in the same league but it,s close enough for me

I'm new to the Sony NEX 5N system and am still getting used to it. What I like is the compactness and lightness of the Sony lenses as well as the quality. If you want to shed weight and have the quality you can do no better than the Sony.

Great addition to an already great camera. Particularly good when using fast shutter speed. Easy to change but would be great if the Sony SEL18200 Zoom lens wasn't so expensive. Happy though.
