Best Uses

I was seeking gloves that would keep me warm while still being able to use my camera or binoculars when bird watching. These (expensive!) gloves seemed to fit the bill. Firstly the LARGE gloves are not really large enough. Second, I couldn't really manage to use a camera properly through the special finger tip 'holes'. Thirdly, the wrist ties on my first pair broke on the third time of wearing. WEX replaced them. On the second pair the wrist tie broke on the FIRST time of wearing. At that stage I asked for my money back...

When its cold

Been using these gloves for a few months now.
The good thing is they are not too bulky and do keep me warm, and the tactile palm is really good and grippy. Great colour and styling.
The bad points are.
1. The velcro fastener is not long enough, i can only just do it up and even then it will be closed tightly around my wrist.
2. the holes for your fingers and thumbs are a little too small, even though they are through neoprien type material, when they are new they cut the circulation to the tips of your digits. After a few months now the holes have stretched and are just about ok.

The hook that keep the two gloved attached together is hard to undo and will probably break (if you ever use it)

The string hanging around the wrist gets in the way.

After all that i would still recommend them, but i havent used any other specific photography gloves.
