The Tamrac Aerospeed 85 in Rust is a Dual Access Photo Backpack that holds and protects a DSLR with a grip and lens attached (including most 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom lenses), a few additional lenses and accessories. The large top compartment can hold personal items, such as a lunch or a light jacket. There is also a separate, foam-padded laptop compartment that holds most 17" screen laptops. It is a 600 denier PolyTek backpack with thick, closed-cell foam lining for shock and vibration protection for your gear. Its Dual Access System allows fast access to your equipment through a side door; when the pack is worn over one shoulder or through the front panel when the Tamrac Aero Speed is removed. For weather protection it is equipped with a water-resistant zip, has a foam padded bottom photo compartment.

Plenty of space for your gear
from BELFAST Northern Ireland
I have only just taking up photography and like to carry my gear about just in case the moment of a rare picture pops up. This is a great strong and comfortable bag with lots of storage for your gear. No worries about knocking the bag as the gear inside is well protected due to the padding. But what i like about the bag is it doesn't look like a camera bag so you can carry it about in busy areas with no worries about someone eyeing it up

Large Capacity = Heavy when fully laden
The main camera bay is very substantial- designed for Pro sized SLRs. My old film Nikons are fine but the smaller D40 is a loose fit. The bag has a quick-entry side pocket, where you slip the strap off of your right shoulder, swing the bag around, open the zip and grab your camera. This becomes very natural and is a great feature. There is room for several lenses/flashes, filters, film etc, and a laptop as well. When full laden this is understandably very heavy. I last used it to take 3 bodies, 3 lenses, flash, loads of film and my laptop on holiday, and had room to spare. Have not full tested the waterproofing, but is certainly splash and light shower proof.

About Me Semi-pro Photographer
I am a web developer and photographer [@] I use the bag to carry my laptop and camera combined. I work on the move e.g. train and plane, on customers sites and in our own office. This bag copes with all of those environments. The quick access to the photo pocket allows me to take photos and build them into websites almost in real time. With new digital SLR's I can even add digital video to our web designs to show customers as I create them. The only gripe, the bag could do with another pocket for the laptop charger and extra batteries. Other than that, a 9.5 out of 10. [...]
Good, solid bag
About Me Photo Enthusiast
This bag holds a good amount of gear. As I've had it for only a month or so, I haven't yet done an overseas trip with it, but I'm sure it will be well up to the job when I do. The padded lower compartment offers good protection, flexible dividers and a generous amount of space, along with easy access. I chose the bag partly because it also offers good storage space in the upper compartment for other gear when hiking or travelling (or even just walking the dogs with camera). The laptop compartment, which covers the entire rear of the bag, is well-padded and large. Overall, the bag is well-designed, rugged (rather than attractive)and does what it claims to do. A good buy for the price.

Excellent Travel Bag!
from London, UK
I bought this bag when my wife and I decided to go on an extended holiday to Australia. It needed to be able to carry my 15" laptop and my Nikon D80 with a couple of lenses. It performed outstandingly well and is small enough to be used as carry on luggage which was the reason I bought it.I got my laptop, camera, charges for both, 2nd lens, Binnoculars, two backup hard drives and a mass of stuff non photgraphy related including MP3 players, PSP, head phones, couple of books and a shower proof jacket. The bag is well padded for camera and laptop protection and also has a changable layout inside the bottom compartment.Over all an excellent purchase that excelled in every way during my useage!
