Comments about Tamron 180mm F3.5 SP AF Di Macro Lens - Canon Fit:
I purchased this lens at the same time as the well regarded 90mm version - Tamron market this 180mm as an ideal partner and that it was produced to match. They say lots of things as all manufacturers do on their marketing, and for once, I have to agree with everything they say! I've used this lens on some macro shots of flowers and was blown away with the fantastic bokeh - very soft. And now I've just done my first landscape shots with it and WOW! The detail is incredible. Very sharp, very clean and a delight to use. Oh, and the colour and contrast rendition? Brilliant. I've shot using this lens some work I did previously using a well known brand's 200mm and I have to say I prefer the Tamron. And it was quite a bit cheaper too!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
