Not cheap but excellent quality, you'll be amazed at what the loupe will highlight. I've used it to inspect sensor & works perfectly.

I've also used this for checking the optics on lenses, this Loupe will highlight imperfections in the glass & coatings, very usefull for inspecting lens glass for marks/fungus etc.

The manufacturers have changed the colour from a previous yucky green to a graphite colour, this green colour was a complaint from previous buyers.

I'm not one for writing reviews but I just thought I'd better endorse this as it works brilliantly. At [$] it's pricey but set against the fifty quid a time I've been paying for sensor cleaning that I've not always been happy with it's worth it. I used this in conjunction with the Visible Dust orange sensor wipes. My only quibble is that for the money I'd have liked to see the unit made out of metal or a heavier quality plastic but overall very happy with this product in use.

I now carry this with me everywhere, together with a cleaning kit. I found buying the right light very confusing with all the promises that are made and the difference in prices. I bought this and it does exactly what it say - it illuminates any spec of dust in 3D making it very easy to see and check.
I don't travel anywhere without this item - far better than the cheap light I had previously!

This was the first time I have cleaned a sensor and was concerned that I might damage my Canon camera. The sensor showed the dust particles very clearly and used in conjunction with a digipad starter kit I was able to clean the sensor which was quite dirty. I had to use three wipes but looking through the scope it was clear that the sensor was clean.

This sensor loupe is the best one I've used. With very bright LED's and a great magnification this loupe works well on a full frame DSLR's sensor that it was designed for & also works well for medium format CCD.

A great bit of kit.

I'm using this on the APS-C sized sensor found on most DSLRs. It does what it says on the tin. It gives a very good illuminated view of the sensor so you can see dust particles and their location.which makes removal and checking much easier. I used to take a picture at F22 and look for dust on the camera LCD enlarged about 5-7 times (more convenient than downloading to the PC). Actually using the LCD or PC is more sensitive and identifies very small, faint particles that the loupe misses but these are are invisible in normal use so it is probably irrelevant

Apart from the yucky green colour my example turned up in,I cannot find fault in this product.I am now spending more money on sensor cleaning products.Every speck of muck is picked up by the LED's.Frightning sight!
