This is an extremely well-engineered product, made with high-quality materials and this is reflected in the price. It weighs less than 1kg and it was with some trepidation that I sat on it first time. I'm 180kg (28st 5lb). The manufacturers claim it will take 250kg. For me, it works! With its carry-case made to be carried over a shoulder and a belt strap on the stool itself it is convenient to carry. I can sit comfortably wherever I am. I haven't tried the option of perching on it without legs extended for really low jobs but they say it's possible. An expensive buy but it seems both very light and bombproof

Whilst the Walkstool is very expensive, it counters this by being extremely well made and when fully extended it is very stable and I was surprised at just how large the actually seat is.

The lower setting they talk of isn't as much use as I thought, as it is more of a perch than a seat, but if you need to use it quickly and for only a short period then this lower setting will be fine.

Tip: When extending the stool make sure you the legs click into place.

Overall I am extremely pleased and at 6ft 5" I find the height perfect, it is also incredible light and you hardly notice you are carrying it.
