The WexPro Collapsible Reversible Background range means you now have the choice of two colours in the one convenient package. Available in a choice of Black, Black/White or Chromakey Green/Blue, the reversible cover simply zips into place over the frame, which in itself can be used as a reflector due to its white translucent material. There are a choice of sizes 2m x1.5m, ideal for single head and shoulder portraits or product shots, 2m x 2.4m for larger groups and 2m x 2.4m with a 2m train for full length shots. Made from a thick velvet type, non reflective material, these backgrounds are ideal for event and portrait photography, High and Low Key with the Black/White or creative and video with the Chroma Green/Blue. The backgrounds can be used in small areas simply leaning against a wall or in conjunction with a support system using the tabs on the frame.

Thought this would be a good substitute for a higher priced Lastolite product but was disappointed all round.

The stitching on my backdrop was faulty when it came out of the bag, having a ten inch split down one side. The 'non reflective material' was like fine towelling, heavy and prone to sagging. The white side was off white and the texture uneven, the black side picked up every bit of fluff around, making it very spotty unless you spent ten minutes hoovering it every time you used it. Heavier and more difficult to fold up than a Lastolite too.

I ended up buying a slightly larger backdrop anyway, 1.8m by 2.1m instead of this one at 1.5m by 2.0m. I'm finding this much more useful, not a lot bigger in the bag but good for 3/4 length shots that would have been impossible with the smaller size.

On the plus side WEX dealt with the return efficiently and with no fuss (assuming the money is back in my account in the near future!).
