I've long used Manfrotto gear and am prepared to pay for quality and reliability. However, the WexPro Super Clamp is indistinguishable from the Manfrotto version, is a tenner less and comes supplied with a stud with 1/4" and 3/8" threads. It's a no-brainer, really.

There's also a hard rubber clip-on tube support included that I can't quite see the use for but will no doubt be indispensable one day!

Highly recommended product.

Although I haven't as yet used this in ernest I can see from the way its made its designed to be 'used'. I first was shocked by the size, I was expecting a small clamp not something that looks like it would hold someones weight (not that I would!)

Anyway, well made and I like the idea the main tightening handle is spring loaded so it can be swung back out the way.
