Manfrotto 15cm Micro Friction Arm

The Micro Friction Arm is a useful, multi-role arm; handy for positioning and securing accessories, cameras, smaller lights and miscellaneous ancillaries. Fully extended length is 15cm and maximum payload is 3kg. Two 3/8 inch and a ¼ inch end adapters are supplied and fitted as standard, and other adapter options are available.

Manfrotto offers a full range of arms that help the photographer and videographer to to safely hold equipment in place. The product family consists of arms of different sizes, provided with many different attachments. Manfrotto friction arms are compatible with every camera and with most of the accessories in the market. The friction arms feature a five year warranty upon registration on the Manfrotto website.

Multiple interchangeable adapters available:
The attachments on each end can be replaced with a different adapter, as required. 3/8'', 1/4'', 3/8'' with anti-rotation system, 5/8'', and hot-shoe adapters are all available. Changing the adapters is very easy: unscrew the adapter and replace with the desired one, using the provided hex key. One extra adapter is already included in the packaging of 244Mini, 244Micro and 244Micro-AR. As a result of the various kits, the user can expand the range of possible applications.

New anti-rotation system:
Manfrotto introduces an innovative, optional anti-rotation system to prevent the load rotating when the arm is attached to a tripod or to a bar through a clamp. This feature is available to use Manfrotto friction arms in combination with Manfrotto Nano Clamp 386B-1 and with the ‘Easy Link' connection of Manfrotto 190 series and Manfrotto 055 series. As a result of the unique shape of the anti-rotation adapter, the metal ring, the arm, the equipment and the support or clamp are interlocked. In this way, the arm and the equipment attached to it will no longer rotate anymore.
