A member of the high-performance Contemporary line, featuring SIGMA’s latest technologies
For optimal balance with light, compact camera bodies, SIGMA designed the new SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens to be extremely compact. The special design of the focus lens group allows fast and smooth AF performance for videography and more. This lens prioritises outstanding image quality, and digitally corrects optical distortion.
Combining compactness with outstanding optical performance
The front lens element features high-refractive index, high-dispersion glass for extra power and a shorter overall lens length. 2 aspherical lens elements help ensure outstanding image quality and overall compactness. The SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens features SIGMA’s inner focus technologies, and offers outstanding stability whether the photographer is shooting handheld or has the camera placed on a surface.
A compact, lightweight lens offering outstanding image quality with F1.4 brightness
In addition to featuring an optimized layout and power distribution, this lens incorporates 1 aspherical lens element and 1 double aspherical lens element, as well as an element made of high-refractive index, high-dispersion glass with high anomalous partial dispersion. The lens delivers an outstanding level of light to the edges of the image while minimizing lateral chromatic aberration. To correct distortion, the lens uses the corrective power of the optical system to enhance sharpness.
Shallow depth of field for a beautiful bokeh effect
The large-diameter lens with F1.4 brightness makes possible a shallow depth of field for a beautiful bokeh effect - unavailable until now in a standard lens for mirrorless cameras.
Designed to minimise flare and ghosting
From the start of the design process, SIGMA took steps to minimize flare and ghosting and establish an optical design that is resistant to h4 incidental light sources such as backlight.
Fast and smooth AF - Stepping motor incorporated for enhanced videography
By incorporating a stepping motor, the lens offers exceptionally quick and quiet autofocusing performance. This feature is especially useful when using the camera to take videos. This lens is also compatible with Sony E-mount Fast Hybrid AF.
Extra-long Hood (Supplied)
The included lens hood is extra-long and features an antireflective coating to manage unwanted light. The hood also features rubber and anti-slip textures to make it easier for the photographer to hold while shooting.
TSC used for a more compact structure and enhanced performance
Since new material Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) is highly elastic, it exhibits minimal deformation. Parts made of TSC are therefore less prone to develop gaps between each other over time. The SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens features a lens barrel and aperture parts made of TSC, which contribute both to the compactness of the lens and the smooth functioning of the aperture system.

Can I repay early? If so how?
No repayments are scheduled in the initial six-month deferral period. However, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, but a £29.00 early-settlement will be incurred. Such repayments may be made to Barclays Partner Finance by cheque, debit card or standing order. Unfortunately it is not possible to set up a direct debit within the deferral period. Further information on how to make such repayments will be set out in the loan agreement pack provided by Barclays Partner Finance.
What happens if I don't repay within the first six months (deferral period)?
Following the six month deferral period, Barclays Partner Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 19.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Late payment penalties and early repayment charges will apply from this point. Barclays Partner Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six month deferral period is due to elapse. Note: If you chose to spread the cost and pay monthly, interest is charged from the start of the loan, not from the start of the repayment period.
What will I receive from the finance provider (lender)?
Barclays Partner Finance will send a loan agreement pack approximately four weeks after delivery of the goods, confirming that the account has been activated and, from this point, it is possible to make repayments against the loan.
