Not much to say about a piece of metal. It simply works!! It fits, it looks nice, just wish it didn't get so hot... but that was probably my fault! :0)

This is a pretty straightforward bit of kit, but is well made and rock solid. I'm expecting it to last and take a fair bit of abuse (accidental of course!).

The grid is particularly well made and it's well worth going for the kit.

Sturdy build and easy to fit. Very concentrated light beam for spot light portraits and lighting hair from behind. I love it! I have D lights and first use of the snoot I left the modelling light on and suffered the hot hand syndrome! Beware things get rather hot if you do. Recommend that you use the modelling light to set up and then switch it off!

I bought a snoot and grid set to fit my Prolinca and Elinchrom lights because a snoot set on another brand wasn't giving me the concentration of light that I wanted.

The snoot is narrow, and gives good concentration anyway - with the (easily-fitted) grid on the narrow end, it provides a spotlight-sized beam of light.

For the kind of pictures I aim to produce - intense portraits and dark-toned nudes - this is a really excellent buy - and far cheaper than going all the way and buying a focussing spotlight!

Build quality is exemplary, as one expects from Elinchrom, so i expect to be using the snoot for hte rest of my life.

this is a great item for hair lights and to get the spot effect in low lighting levels. Just be careful if you use it on D lites as they can overheat. if you use the modeling light as well.
the honey comb grid is a bit of plastic so needs careful handing. But you can easily remove it and put gels in the holder with it for special effects.
