Almost invaluable for photographing babies and young children. It is a lot bigger than I expected but for the use I don't think it could be much smaller.

If you do a lot of studio baby portraits, then the baby poser really is a must have prop. It can be configured to help with posing newborns right up to 1 year old.

Parents like it too as once setup and covered with a nice duvet it looks inviting and comfy for baby. It is rock solid stable unlike a large bean bag which can start to move.

Very useful bit of kit, better than the usual bean bag as its a little more firm, posing options are easily achievable, and if you use your imagination results can be amazing.

Helps to add more depth/shape to photos that you simply cant achieve with a bean bag.

Worth investing in.

Ive not used it yet but as with all lastolite products we moan how expensive they are yet we still buy them.
this is another superb item by lastolite although it would have been nice to have one of those blue bags with it !!

The Lastolite Baby Poser is a very useful bit of kit. Yes, I guess you could have a pile of clean fluffy towels standing by instead to use as a prop, but with an impatient mum nearby, it's worth the dosh. It makes you LOOK more professional. It's been well thought out and can be used in several different configurations. The middle section protrudes in case the baby falls forwards and hits their head, preventing nasty accidents, so from that viewpoint, it's worth every penny. I guess the main drawback is the size.. It's on the bulky side so difficult to store in a studio that's pushed for space.

I find the lastolite baby poser an excellent purchase; I find it safe and comfortable for the babies. it's versatile with many uses babies sit up very well from birth it gives good support for the babies, I uses it for tummy posing of all age groups and lying down shots of new born babies. I found the price a little expensive but it does the job well and safety is very important while take picture of babies. It is very light and mobile and comes in a cloth bag. I have used various types of posers in the past and I find this one to be the best so far.

I have not had to use it as yet, I purchased this due to number of baby photos I was being asked to take. However from test set-ups it is very light, but very large which could be an issue if trying to move it through a clients house. It is easy to set-up with adjusting straps and movable padding. Looks great with a sheet or blanket over the top of it.

It comes in a draw string bag to keep it clean; it is very east to remove it from the bag and to re-pack the baby poser in it bag after the shoot is finished.

Biggest problem is storage and transportation between locations.
