The Lastolite camera bracket enables me to obtain studio quality lighting 'on the fly'. When combined with a strobe flash and 15inch umbrella, it's just like carrying your studio around your neck.

Once the camera and flash are fitted it's quite easy to use although unlocking the swinging platform to make it tilt is a little fiddly and the small "leg" that stops it falling over when you stand it down could usefully be a little bigger. Having said that, it is very good value for money.

I found the Lastolite camera bracket really usefull and easy to use. I had looked hard and long on the internet for a bracket. It is solid and easy to change the angle of the camera from portrait to landscape. I feel that this is probably the best on the market at this price.

I think this is great. I have seen some other brackets out there and they all just look too weak and cheap. This bracket looks and feels strong. Its great that you can change the angle of the camera without taking the flash off. When you do change the angle, the flash remains in the exact same position always to give you that even lighting.

I had an old unbraded bracket before this that shoved the flash a few inchs up and along. I find the Lastolite uch more versatile, with the release plate allowing me to take the camera off the bracket quickly. The extendable height can make it a little unwieldy and top heavy if you are not careful. I don't use i for day to day, but for weddings it is indispensable as an easy way to maintain mobile on camera flash, whilst giving some room to avoid red eye, shadows etc.
