Comments about Lowepro Pro Trekker 300 AW Backpack:
I spent a long time thinking about this pack due to the cost and not sure if it would be big enough for my feature needs but needed to upgrade my old lowpro 250 fast pack as it was getting to small. But have been very impressed with it there is more room than it seems from the images and am glad I went for this one rather than the next size up. Also many more features than in the wright up like markers to indicate wether a card is full or empty, pockets that are not mentioned. I have only used it on short trips so far but was very comfortable. The adjustable harness is worth spending some time adjusting to get the most from it. The build quality is also excellent I can't praise this pack enough.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Excellent rucksack from Lowepro
About Me Semi-pro Photographer
I had to replace my previous Lowepro rucksack (Vertex 200AW) as I'd bought a new 300mm f/2.8 lens and it didn't fit in with 2 cameras and 70 - 200mm f/2.8 lens (plus various other smaller ones as required)This rucksack is big enough for all the above, plus a camcorder and multiple attachment areas for tripods/monopods etc; there's scope even for attaching a small single person tent There's plenty of other pockets for memory cards, filters etc; the hydration pouch is a bonus, especially if you're walking a long way to locations like I have to sometimesThere's almost too many features to go through here but I haven't found a single thing against it yet and I've had it a few months now.If you're carrying a lot of gear then it does get heavy, but it is extremely comfortable to wear, and actually not that noticeable that you're wearing itI've placed it in overhead lockers in aircraft and it fits no problems, complying with most airline dimensions, even when it's full up. I would check airline weight restrictions though

Best bag I've bought!
About Me Pro Photographer
A great camera bag for trekking FINALLY! Apart from the padded storage for camera and lenses there's room for water bottle in one side compartment, waterproof trousers rolled up and kept in the back sleeve using the built-in compression straps, waterproof jacket in stuff sack underneath using built-in compression straps, the built in laptop case can be used for storing maps, the other side pocket for accessories, batteries, etc. There's more storage at the top for a fleece or windproof. If you want you can still put a tripod on the side. This is definitely the best bag I've had. The only thing is...I still haven't worked out what the two straps located in the top flap are used for :-)
