Comments about Nikon ML-L3 Remote Controller:

Haven't used this much since I bought it to be honest, but worked fine to eliminate the slight nudge or wobble caused by pressing the shutter release button. You have to keep an eye on the range / angle but apart from that...

Comments about Nikon ML-L3 Remote Controller:

Like someone else has commented here, its pretty expensive for what you get. That said, id happily pay the £££ for what it enables me to do.

It must be reasonably invaluable to me as despite always using the v handy strap mount baggie iv lost mine and am here to get a replacement! - the size is both a pro and a con.

Also, D7000 is missing from the description as a compatible device.

Comments about Nikon ML-L3 Remote Controller:

It works well except longer distances.
4 meters is a borderline and sometimes you have to spend a few seconds to get a right angle to make it work. In that time you can loose a good shot.

Bearing in mind Nikon's specification it works well but it is way too expensive. I'd look for cheaper alternatives.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Nikon ML-L3 Remote Controller:

This is an easy to use remote that enables you to take self portrait and candid shots as well as long exposure shots where manual shutter release could cause blurring of the picture. Great for studio photography as well when you want to keep subjects relaxed and keep talking without becoming a disembodied voice behind the camera. My only criticism is that position is quite critical to fire the shutter, sometimes it takes a couple of presses to work, but for the price I can't complain.

Comments about Nikon ML-L3 Remote Controller:

This is quite simply the best accessory you can get for your Nikon!

It's ideal for shooting whenever you need to minimize shake, in low light conditions or when you want to be in the photograph yourself.

It comes with a nice little case that can be put on the strap so you always have the remote with you.

Comments about Nikon ML-L3 Remote Controller:

I have a mixed option on this.
Having had one, i couldn't live without it, or similar.
It has been great for taking self portraits or timer delay photographs where you don't want to touch the camera and produce camera shake.

The problem is, ive had two of these and they have randomly stopped working or have been very intermittent. Have tried changing batteries etc to no avail so very very annoyed at the time. (im hoping it wasn't my camera - who knows)

Anyway, check your Nikon has an infrared port as not all do, but for the money this can really transform the way you get some of your photographs.
Store it securely where it wont get crushed as i have a funny feeling that may be why mine stopped working.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
