Comments about Slik Sprint Pro II GM Tripod:

This is my first 'proper' tripod, i.e. one that isn't plastic.

It could be more sturdy but this is forgiveable due to the price and compactness. It simply fits within my camera bag and is a lot more inconspicuous than having a tripod on the outside of the bag, which has meant I have used this tripod on many more occasions than I otherwise would have.

The head is in my opinion the downfall and seems to be weaker than the legs it is paired with; though it is easily upgradeable.

In summary this tripod easily supports my dslr and kit lens but struggles with telephoto lenses.
