The Manfrotto MK190XPRO3 Tripod and X-Pro 3-Way Head is a 4-section aluminium tripod accompanied with an X-Pro 3-way head. The MK190XPRO3 delivers a maximum height of 173cm (with centre column extended), a closed length of 62cm and a maximum load of 6000g. The newest feature is the Easy Link connector with 3/8” female thread, which allows you to attach photo or video accessories, such as an LED light, reflector or arm. The 90-degree centre column mechanism allows the column to be extended vertically or horizontally to open up a wide range of framing and shooting possibilities, and is especially useful for low to the ground macro work. The Quick Power Lock (QPL) levers have also been improved to ensure a faster one-handed set up.

About the Manfrotto 190 series
Lighter and more compact than the 055, the 190 is the most classic and popular tripod in the Manfrotto range. Continuously evolving over the years it is a beautifully balanced tool, and thanks to the wide range of models and versions, the 190 is the ideal tripod for a great number of users - from hobbyists to pro. It offers advanced settings, and like the 055 it can be fitted with a number of optional accessories to increase its capabilities. It is available in different configurations and in 2 materials: aluminium and carbon fibre. Besides the carbon fibre tubes, the CX versions also feature ultra light magnesium casting, and in the Pro version, the carbon fibre column.
90° centre column mechanism
The key feature of the kit is the tripod's 90° centre column mechanism, which allows the column to be extended vertically as normal, or horizontally to open up a wide range of framing and shooting possibilities; this makes it an extremely versatile tripod, suitable for a wide range of photography applications. The horizontal column mechanism is housed within the tripod's top casting for compactness, but it is easily and quickly extended whenever you need it. Switching between vertical and horizontal column orientation requires no disassembly, and can even be done with a camera attached.
Improved QPL leg locks for quick setup
The legs of the tripod are also fast to extend and adjust, thanks to the Quick Power Lock levers that block and unblock each leg section. The special design of the QPL levers allows a more comfortable and stronger single-handed grip of the leg locks. From folded, the sections of each leg of the tripod can be released in a single movement. The QPL lever design also offers more powerful locking of each section, meaning the tripod is more stable and rigid than with traditional lever designs. Intuitive and ergonomic leg angle selectors allow each leg to be independently and solidly set to any of the preset angles, again allowing considerable positioning freedom.
Built-in spirit level
A bubble level is built in to the top of the centre column for precise framing. The bubble level rotates freely around the centre column, so it can be positioned wherever it's easiest for you to see it while adjusting the tripod, and without it either being obscured by the mounted head and camera, or getting in the way of head or camera controls.
Easy Link connector
The top casting of the tripod has an Easy Link connector for supporting a photo or video accessory (such as an LED light, flash, reflector, or other piece of equipment) on an extending arm or bracket, and making the tripod into a practical mobile studio.
The X-Pro 3-Way Head
This is why the new X-PRO 3-way head has been designed to occupy as little space as possible, with retractable levers that can be extended when needed, but remain extremely compact when not in use. The X-PRO measures just 13cm x 13.5cm x 13.5cm (5.1” x 5.3” x 5.3”) when folded: nearly as tiny as a ball head. Manfrotto has once again focused on the details that help make every picture perfect and has equipped the X-PRO 3-way head with friction controls. Friction on the pan and tilt axes can be set to balance the weight of the camera even when the locking knobs are open, allowing fine framing adjustments to be made before the shot is locked down. The head has three small leveling bubbles that help the photographer set the shot even more precisely in-camera, reducing post-production work.
